What is Single (ANK) in Matka?

Singles (Ank) in Matka are single-digit numbers from 0 to 9. There are 10 Singles0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Rate Paid for Singles: 1:9

A Single is never released independently. A single is a sum of the last digit of a Pana. Example: If a Pana is 269, 2+6+9 = 17, here the second digit is considered single. The result looks like this: 269-7.

Cut Numbers

For flexibility and to make the game interesting, singles are linked to one another as interchangeable numbers or cut numbers. Cut numbers meaning that they are the same either way. Always, the difference between the cut numbers is +5 or -5.

1 & 6

2 & 7

3 & 8

4 & 9

5 & 0

Cut numbers mean numbers that are +5 or -5 away from each other. Each Number has its interchangeable Cut number.

Notes

a. You don’t get money for cut number pass.

b. Any Jodi in which has the two digits are of the same cut set as given above, is to be noted as RED

(Red Jodi’s are explained in Jodi’s section)

Even & odd

Singles can be classified into two groups based on universal classification.

Evens : 0,2,4,6,8

Odds : 1,3,5,7,9

These classifications go on to form classifications in Jodi’s and Pana’s
